May 20 Apple MLTI ConfI am setting at the Apple MLTI Conference bored out of my mind... Waste of time... April 28 A post from last weekend...Last weekend, (April 18-20) Cameo and I went to Canada for the weekend to do a little geocaching and so that we could go to the Jeff Dunham show in Houlton, ME on the 19th, (Cameo got me tickets for my birthday!) The show was unbelievably funny!! He had a lot of new material and some of the old stuff too. 100% worth the trip up north!!! April 08 Two posts in two days!Ok so not really exciting posts but post none the less :-) Took the paintball gun out for the first time yesterday, it is a lot more accurate than the ones that I used years ago. Now to get the sniper barrel and some other accessories... April 07 Still hereYes I am still around... Just not good at keeping things updated...

Ya I know, it’s a rare occurrence… Enjoy!! (Let me know what you think) Rotten AppleIf you ever want to be bored to tears and beyond just attend any of the conferences put on by the MLTI Apple folks... I have never heard a group of people that are more short of sight and narrow of mind... Now don't get me wrong, Mac's are fine computers and I am posting this from a MacBook but it seems that the people that the state has put in charge of the laptop program are the worst of the Apple fanatics... They bash PC's at any given chance and fail to understand that the real world is PC based. Apple moved a great step forward when they switched to the Intel chip and can now run Windows, providing people who are smart enough to use both systems a single hardware platform from which to work. Now if Apple will open it's OS to run on regular hardware so that people will not have to pay through the arse for hardware. So happy that the state was convinced to limit the schools to one platform...so much for freedom of choice.... PC vs Mac.... both are simply tools each with pro's and con's let the schools use what works for them.... May 26 An update of sorts....I am posting from our hotel in Cary NC, just outside of Raleigh NC. Cameo and I are down here for Geocaching Woodstock 5. We left from home with our friend L. A. Saturday the 19th and took the scenic route, getting down here on Tuesday afternoon. We went and saw the Imax movie "Sharks 3D" which was pretty cool!! The GWS 5 was fun, but nothing really spectacular. Just a big social event. Tomorrow we start the two day trip home and I will be very happy to get back!! |
